"The Fallen Crown" ended prematurely due to a Valve error

On the night of May 1st, Valve prematurely ended the “Broken Crown” event in Dota 2 due to a game code error. Developers fixed the issue within an hour, and the event became available to players again.

Originally scheduled to end on May 1st, Valve forgot to extend the duration of the “Broken Crown” event. As a result, players were unable to take advantage of the discount on arcanas and the Midgate Pathfinder Pack. After the fix, everything worked as intended.

The “Broken Crown” event started on April 19th, with developers introducing the first of four event acts titled “Crossway Markets.” The second part of the update is expected in mid-May. The release dates for the third and fourth acts have not been officially disclosed yet, but dataminers speculate they will occur in June and July, respectively.
