In April, Fallout 4 became the best-selling game in Europe, while console sales declined by 47%

According to GSD data published by GamesIndustry.biz, Fallout 4 from Bethesda emerged as the best-selling game in Europe in April. This success was bolstered by discounts coinciding with the release of a popular Fallout TV series on Amazon. Additionally, owners of the game for PS4 and Xbox One received a long-awaited update for the new generation of consoles, PS5 and Xbox Series X/S, for free.

In second place was EA Sports FC 24, closely followed by Helldivers 2. Grand Theft Auto 5 and Red Dead Redemption 2 rounded off the top five. Among the new entries, Stellar Blade claimed the tenth spot, TopSpin 2K25 was at twelfth, and No Rest For The Wicked was at thirteenth.

Meanwhile, console sales dropped by 47%, and accessory sales decreased by nearly 17%. The PS5 DualSense controller retained its top position despite the overall sales decline.
