Virtus.pro has expanded its roster with a new player – Antares

Virtus.pro’s Dota 2 roster welcomed a new support player named Vladislav “Antares” Kertman, replacing Oleg “sayuw” Kalenbet, who has transitioned to the substitute position. The announcement was made on the team’s official social media channels.

“Achievements are impossible without changes, and now is the most suitable time for them. Our team has clear goals: to qualify for the Riyadh Masters 2024 and The International 2024,” noted Virtus.pro CEO Nikolay Petrovyan.

Before joining Virtus.pro, Antares competed for 9Pandas, achieving third place at ESL One Berlin Major 2023 and finishing 5-6th at Riyadh Masters 2023. Throughout his career, he has earned $240,000 in prize money.

Virtus.pro faced a rough start to the current season, failing to qualify for DreamLeague Season 23 and exiting the FISSURE & ESB Elite League 2024 in the group stage, securing the 17-19th place.

Previously, Virtus.pro’s midlaner Ilya “squad1x” Kuvludin expressed his views on Dota 2 training, emphasizing the importance of each player conducting a certain number of matches to maintain their form.
