Details about the third season update for Modern Warfare 3 and Warzone have been revealed

Activision has shared details about the third season of updates for Modern Warfare 3 and Warzone.

Scheduled to launch on May 1 at 9 AM PT / 12 PM ET / 5 PM BST / 6 PM CEST, players can expect new maps and modes for multiplayer, the next story mission for Zombies, and a Specialist Perk Package in Warzone, among other enhancements.

Among the multiplayer innovations for the mid-season are the maps “Grime,” set around an abandoned canal in London, and “Checkpoint,” based on the fortress of Rebirth Island. Additionally, a new multiplayer variant called Minefield will be available, along with the Escort mode, where players must defend or attack a moving vehicle across the map.

In Warzone, players can anticipate new missions and events, including the return of Rebirth Island and the Resurgence mode. A rare Specialist Perk Package and a new Killstreak called Foresight, aiding players in predicting gas movements on the map, will also be introduced.
