Valve announced an annual short film contest for Dota 2

Valve has announced the start of submissions for the annual Dota 2 short film contest, held before The International tournament.

Creators must publish their videos by August 19, 2024, with a maximum duration of 90 seconds. Fans will be able to view and rate the works of bloggers in the Steam Workshop.

The winner of the contest will receive $25,000 for first place. Second and third places are awarded $10,000 and $5,000 respectively. Authors of works in the top 10 will receive $500 each.

In 2023, the winning video was “Chemical Rage” by blogger 4fun. Also among the top three were “Finish Pls” by Keller Max and “GAME BREAKERS” by Anomidae.
