The research revealed that CT snipers exhibit the highest average rating on Overpass and Inferno maps in CS2

HLTV portal conducted research on successful defensive positions in competitive CS2 maps. Matches between top-50 teams were analyzed. Analysts found that CT snipers excelled on Overpass and Inferno maps, with an average rating of 1.27.

Players also showed good performance in the “connector” on Mirage, “A site” position on Inferno, and “street” on Nuke.

However, players holding the “B site” position on Anubis often faced difficulties, with an average rating of 0.93 and lower.
