The developers announced an upcoming update to the ranking system in PUBG

The developers of PUBG: BATTLEGROUNDS have announced updates to the workshop, where certain in-game items will be assigned new ranks. These changes will come into effect with the release of the upcoming update 29.2.

In update 29.2, items previously categorized as basic rank, along with those without any rank designation, will be reassigned ranks based on their value. The credits needed to create or dismantle these items will align with their new ranks.
