Now in CS 2, it is possible to rent skins

Valve has introduced the option to rent certain skins in Counter-Strike 2, marking the first instance of this feature in the history of competitive shooters.

Players can rent skins from the Kilowatt collection (except for the Kukri knife) for a period of seven days. This option becomes available immediately after purchasing a key for the corresponding case. However, applying stickers and name tags to rented items is prohibited.

This is just one of the changes in the patch released on the night of May 24, 2024. The price of the M4A4 and incendiary grenade has been reduced by $100, and a connector to point A and updated landscape near the plant have been added on the Vertigo map.
