Nintendo has released a new trailer for the highly anticipated game The Legend of Zelda: Echoes of Wisdom, showcasing Zelda’s combat abilities. The video reveals her Swordfighter form, which allows her to battle enemies for a short time.

The Legend of Zelda: Echoes of Wisdom will be released on September 26, alongside the new Zelda edition Nintendo Switch Lite console. According to the developers, Zelda will find a mysterious sword in the Still World that grants her the ability to transform into a powerful Swordfighter form and engage enemies head-on. The sword’s might enables her to break through obstacles, defeat enemies, and fight alongside echoes. The sword’s gauge can be replenished by collecting energy found in the Still World.

Interestingly, according to the ESRB rating, Link may also be a playable character in the game. Nintendo notes that Hyrule is home to many quirky characters who will assist the princess in her adventures. One of them is Dampé, an engineer of clockwork gizmos, who creates automatons with powerful effects that can break apart if they take too much damage.

A recent trailer also showcased Zelda’s movement abilities and revealed new locations that players will explore in the game.
