Images from a new Valve game have surfaced online

Valve’s new project, Deadlock, promises to be an immersive gaming experience. The authenticity of the screenshots was confirmed by insider Maxim “Gabe Follower” Poletaev.

Deadlock, blending elements from Dota 2, Team Fortress 2, and Overwatch, aims to breathe new life into the gaming world. The screenshots reveal the use of key MOBA mechanics, including minion farming and strategic lanes on the map.

Players can expect 6v6 battles on a map with four lanes. They’ll be able to swiftly navigate through it using rails. Initially, the project featured sci-fi elements inspired by Portal and Half-Life, but developers decided to shift to a fantasy aesthetic following negative feedback from testers.
