HooXi: “We’re the best version of G2 that I can remember in recent times”

G2 Esports Captain Rasmus “HooXi” Nielsen gave an interview to James Banks, where he noted that the team had worked diligently ahead of the PGL Major Copenhagen 2024 for CS 2.

The team has progressed significantly. We are the best version of G2 that I can remember in recent times. I still believe there are things we can learn, and the team needs to address some details. We are not far from reaching our peak potential. Feeling good.

G2 Esports made a successful debut at the Major by defeating the FURIA Esports team. They secured victory on the Inferno map with a score of 13:3. HooXi ended the match with 9 kills, 7 deaths, and 7 assists, earning a rating of 1.14. The next match for the club is scheduled for March 21 against NAVI.

The PGL Major Copenhagen 2024 is taking place from March 17 to 31 in Denmark, where participants from around the world continue to compete for a prize pool of $1.25 million.
