In April 2024, the peak online player count in Dota 2 reached 921,000. The last time this many users logged into the popular MOBA was in November 2022. The average player count in April was 456,000, which is 27,000 more than the previous month.

This indicates growth in Dota 2 since March. The increased interest from fans is likely due to the release of the “Fallen Crown” update, which introduced a story mode and two treasure chests with skins to the game.
