Following the release of the “Fallen Crown” update, Dota 2 experienced a nearly 30% increase in its peak online player count compared to March, according to data from SteamDB.

On April 21st, Dota 2 reached a peak of 928,000 concurrent players, marking a level not seen since November 2022. During that time, Valve offered the Battle Pass and an arcana for free to players who completed over 10 matches since the pass’s launch.
The “Fallen Crown” update was launched on April 19th, introducing an event where players have the opportunity to acquire cosmetic items and double down tokens.
