The Division Resurgence is now available on iOS and Android as a free-to-play shooter from Ubisoft

The Division Resurgence is a free-to-play looter shooter set in the Tom Clancy’s The Division universe by Ubisoft, now officially released on iOS and Android and available worldwide. Following the launch of Rainbow Six Mobile, the company continues to expand its mobile strategy, focusing on another major franchise.

Players take on the role of a new Division agent and progress through a story-driven campaign that can be played solo or in co-op with up to four players. The events take place in New York between the first and second installments of the series, where players must restore order amid the chaos caused by the spread of the Green Poison. Familiar enemy factions such as the Raiders, Rikers, and Cleaners return, alongside a new group called the Freemen, who rely on improvised weapons and resource scavenging.

In addition to the campaign and open-world exploration, the game features PvP modes, including Conflict, as well as the Dark Zone with PvPvE extraction gameplay, where players must secure valuable loot and successfully extract it while avoiding both hostile NPCs and other players.

The progression system includes specializations such as Demolitionist, Bulwark, Field Medic, Tech Operator, and Vanguard. Each grants access to unique weapons and gadgets, and players can switch between them on the fly. Equipment can also be crafted and upgraded, allowing for customization based on individual playstyles.

After completing the campaign, additional endgame activities become available, including the high-difficulty Legendary Challenge and the Lone Wolf Challenge with a series of trials. A clan system is also included, enabling players to pool resources and earn rewards. The developers have already confirmed plans for post-launch content updates.
