Marvel Rivals has received the Lower Manhattan update

NetEase has released update 20260402 “Lower Manhattan” for Marvel Rivals, bringing bug fixes, performance improvements, and a brand-new map.

The highlight of the update is the introduction of the Lower Manhattan map. Battles unfold across open avenues, historic buildings, quiet courtyards, and beneath the towering shadow of the Alchemax skyscraper. Players can also explore underground secret laboratories filled with unstable energy.

In terms of story context, Lower Manhattan is affected by a major anomaly: the Alchemax headquarters from the year 2099 has crashed into the present day. This event triggered a timeline incursion, gradually transforming modern-day New York into the futuristic Nueva York.

Additionally, the in-game store now features new items for Invisible Woman and Mister Fantastic. The update also fixes issues affecting certain heroes and improves features such as Chronal Catch-Up, Deadpool’s Director’s Cut, and the Voice Changer across all platforms.
