The development team of Overplus successfully bypassed Valve’s new ban system in just 20 minutes

The developers of Overplus have stated that Valve’s new hero ban system has not affected the effectiveness of their program. The cheat automatically adjusts bans before each match in Dota 2.

“It took us just 20 minutes to change the banning logic, and now everything works just as before,” noted the Overplus developers.

According to Valve’s 7.35d update, the hero ban system has changed: players now compile a list of four heroes, one of which will be banned in each match. Developers stated that the popularity of Overplus influenced this change.

On February 9, Valve conducted a major ban wave, resulting in VAC bans for players using programs to gather statistics on opponents. Overplus has become the most widespread cheat.
