The CEO of the Call of Duty League, Daniel Tsai, announced changes to the league’s business model on the official CDL website.
He canceled all outstanding team entry fees, with previously paid amounts set to be refunded. The league organizers also pledged to provide teams with a “minimum two-year revenue guarantee” to allow them to continue investing in the Call of Duty tournament ecosystem.
Additionally, clubs were promised increased revenue from the sale of in-game CDL cosmetics and Champs packs.
