Rabbids, Assassin’s Creed, and more might be coming to XDefiant

This information comes from game content datamined by X user Rogue TX (via Kotaku), who has been posting alleged files from the game online.

According to Rogue TX, four new factions potentially coming to the shooter include Assassins from Assassin’s Creed, Operators from Ghost Recon Breakpoint, GSG9 members from Rainbow Six Siege, and The Highwaymen from Far Cry: New Dawn.

Even more surprising are hints that factions inspired by the driving game The Crew and the colorful platformer Rabbids might also be added to the shooter.

The datamined files also indicate that new game modes such as team deathmatch, capture the flag, and infection are planned for XDefiant, along with weapons like a sawed-off shotgun, Tommy Gun, FAMAS, turret, RC car, FAL, and G36 rifle.

XDefiant is currently available on PS5, Xbox Series X/S, and PC.

The game will introduce a new season every three months, with each of Year 1’s four seasons adding one new faction, three new weapons, and three new maps. Each season will also include a 90-tier battle pass.
