NIP secures $40 million investment from Abu Dhabi sovereign fund

Swedish esports holding company NIP Group has entered into a multi-year partnership with ADIO Holdings Restricted Limited (ADIO), a subsidiary of the Abu Dhabi Investment Office sovereign fund. Under the agreement, the organization will receive $40 million in investment over four years.

The funding will be provided in stages, contingent on meeting specific conditions, including qualitative and quantitative KPIs and achieving targeted revenue milestones.

To strengthen its presence in the region and globally, NIP Group will establish its new global headquarters in Abu Dhabi.

As part of the partnership, the holding plans to expand into several areas, including esports, game publishing, event organization, and other initiatives. Additionally, NIP Group will advise ADIO on strategies for developing the gaming and esports ecosystem in the UAE.
