M0NESY, who is only 18 years old, has spent a whopping 20,000 hours in Counter-Strike

18-year-old player from G2 Esports, Ilya “m0NESY” Osipov, has spent 20,000 hours playing Counter-Strike. That’s equivalent to 833 days or 2 years of continuous gaming. The young esports athlete shared a screenshot of his Steam profile on social media.

Most of these hours, around 19,000, were spent on CS:GO, with only a thousand on CS 2. The time from both versions of the shooter is taken into account.

G2 started the current season ambiguously, taking 3-4 places at PGL Major Copenhagen 2024 and IEM Chengdu 2024. Their next match is scheduled for ESL Pro League Season 19, where they will face M80. At the time of publication, the teams are playing the first map.

Former Cloud9 analyst Ivan “F_1N” Kochugov commented on rumors that the organization was interested in m0NESY. Although he is not aware of the negotiations, he believes that the G2 player would fit into any team due to his gentle character.
