M0NESY: “I like Dust 2 much more than Overpass”

Sniper from G2 Esports, Ilya “m0NESY” Osipov, shared his opinion on replacing Overpass with Dust 2 in the competitive map pool of CS 2. Although he likes both maps, he is glad to see Dust 2 back.

“I like all maps in Counter-Strike. But I love Dust 2 much more than Overpass. I’ve seen changes on Inferno. Developers removed the roof in the center, now it’s much easier to throw grenades there. The changes to “banana” are not bad,” noted Ilya “m0NESY” Osipov.

G2 player Nikola “NiKo” Kovac also expressed his thoughts on the map rotation. He likes Dust 2, but he doesn’t think Overpass should have been removed.

“I like Dust 2. But I think they could have left Overpass and removed Vertigo. But I’m glad Dust 2 is back,” shared his opinion Nikola “NiKo” Kovac.

Valve made changes to the competitive map pool in the update from April 26, also adding the ability to switch the leading hand and the “Patrol” mode.
