Games come alive, and the fun never ends!

Forza Horizon 6 appears to have been leaked online ahead of its official release

The highly anticipated sixth entry in the Forza Horizon series is scheduled for full release on May 19, with early access starting May 15 for players who purchase the Premium Edition.

However, according to multiple online reports, including discussions on the Gaming Leaks and Rumours Reddit community, the PC version has already been obtained, cracked, and distributed illegally.

While the exact cause of the leak has not been officially confirmed, the leading theory suggests that a pre-loaded build of the game was uploaded to Steam’s backend on Sunday by a developer without encryption enabled.

This reportedly allowed certain individuals to extract the files and apply a crack, making the game playable ahead of release.

Despite this, players have begun sharing gameplay screenshots and videos on social media and YouTube, while others on Reddit are exchanging tips on how to bypass crashes and stability issues. This indicates that although the leaked version appears unstable, it is likely legitimate.

Microsoft has not yet issued an official statement on the matter. The situation is likely disappointing for the company, given the importance of Forza Horizon 6 as a major release.

Its predecessor, Forza Horizon 5, earned a Metacritic score of 92, and the new installment—set in Japan after long-standing fan requests—aims to match or exceed that critical success.

In our hands-on preview of Forza Horizon 6, we noted that the game is shaping up to be another standout open-world racing experience.

“If the rest of the game is as good as the small taste I’ve played, we’re potentially looking at one of the year’s best,” we said. “We’ll have a full review closer to launch, but at this stage everything suggests it could rival Forza Horizon 5 and potentially take pole position as the best open-world racer available.”
