Developers of Dota 2 have announced the release date for the third act of the Crownfall event. This new information was revealed within the game’s client.

Valve will release the third act of Crownfall on July 9, despite jokes about “Valve Time” due to a slight delay compared to the originally teased “end of June” date, which was mentioned after the release of the second act.

The specifics of the update have not been disclosed yet. Players speculate that the third act might introduce a new hero — Ringmaster. Valve may also release a compendium for The International 2024, although there have been no official confirmations yet.

The second act was launched on the night of May 23, 2024, continuing the story of Vengeful Spirit in her struggle for the throne against her sister. In addition to the comic and lore, developers added new items and a treasure trove. Update 7.36 was also released, introducing changes to hero abilities and aspects.
