A minute of gameplay from Valve's new game, Deadlock, has leaked online

The first gameplay footage of Deadlock, a shooter by Valve, has surfaced online. This isn’t the first leak. The video doesn’t feature shootouts with other players but shows movement across the map.

Earlier, insider Tom Henderson noted that the gameplay resembles Dota 2. Players need to kill creeps to earn currency, which is then spent on strengthening characters.

He also mentioned that the game is in early development, and in his opinion, the release is not planned before 2025.

Dataminer Maxim “GabeFollower” Poletaev revealed that Deadlock will be a third-person shooter, with battles taking place on a huge map with four lanes. Two teams of six players will defend their towers and destroy enemy ones. Gamers will be able to move quickly using hooks, similar to Bioshock Infinite, as confirmed by the leaked footage.
