French AWPer Mathieu “ZywOo” Herbaut shared his thoughts on Team Vitality’s performance at IEM Dallas 2025 in Counter-Strike 2, noting that the team struggled to show their top form throughout most of the tournament.
“I think we didn’t show our best level during the tournament, except maybe in the final. Honestly, it wasn’t a great event for us — both individually and as a team. We lost some clutches, even a 1v5 — that hasn’t happened in a few events,” ZywOo admitted.
According to him, the team made more mistakes than usual and relied too much on individual plays — something that could be costly at the upcoming Major, where they’ll face even more pressure as favorites:
“We’re trying to avoid that because at the Major, the pressure will be much higher. We have to make sure we don’t make such mistakes in key moments. We just need to play together. I think we played really well in the final — better than we usually do.”
In the grand final, Team Vitality defeated MOUZ with a 3:0 scoreline, and ZywOo was named the tournament MVP, earning the 26th MVP title of his career.
