The VALORANT Champions 2024 has officially started in Seoul, representing the climax of the season for the game. This year’s tournament brings together the best teams from around the world to compete for a significant prize pool of $2.25 million. Sixteen teams are battling for the championship title, with no previous world champions participating.
VALORANT Champions 2024 Live Report The tournament features four teams from each of the partner leagues: Americas, Pacific, EMEA, and China. The competition starts with a group stage using the GSL format, after which the top eight teams will move on to a double-elimination playoffs bracket to determine the final champion.
Top contenders for the title include Sentinels and Gen.G, champions of VCT 2024: Masters Madrid and VCT 2024: Masters Shanghai, respectively. Notably, Gen.G, which defeated Sentinels in the Madrid final, was placed in the same group as Sentinels for this World Championship and won their encounter.
Other prominent teams to watch are Fnatic, Paper Rex, and Team Heretics, all of which have achieved notable finishes in previous international tournaments.
