S.T.A.L.K.E.R. 2 has reached break-even, according to Maxim Krippa, co-owner of GSC Game World, in an interview with Forbes.
He stated that the shooter has already started to generate profit. However, the exact number of copies sold is not disclosed. It is known that by the end of November, sales had reached 2 million copies.
Krippa also shared the studio’s future plans. The developers are considering releasing S.T.A.L.K.E.R. 2 on “other platforms,” likely referring to PS5. Additionally, two story DLCs and an online mode are in development. The company is also in negotiations to create a TV series based on the game.
