Team Liquid reached the grand final of The International 2024, matching NAVI in the number of final appearances

On September 14, Team Liquid secured their spot in the grand final of The International 2024 in Dota 2. This marks the team’s third appearance in the world championship final. Previously, Liquid won The International 2017 and finished as runner-up in The International 2019.

With this achievement, Liquid tied with NAVI in the number of TI finals. The Ukrainian club has also played in three finals: NAVI became champions in The International 2011 and took second place in The International 2012 and 2013.

In the TI13 upper bracket final, Liquid dominated Gaimin Gladiators with a 2-0 victory. Their opponent in the grand final will be decided on the morning of September 15, with the lower bracket match between Tundra Esports and Team Falcons underway.

The International 2024 takes place from September 4 to 15 in Copenhagen, Denmark. The tournament’s prize pool exceeds $2.5 million, with only Western European teams remaining.
