Team Falcons announces s1mple’s departure and major roster changes in CS2

The Team Falcons organization has confirmed that Oleksandr “s1mple” Kostyliev is leaving their CS2 roster. The club thanked the legendary player for his contributions to the team.

Additionally, Falcons has benched three players: Peter “dupreeh” Rasmussen, Marco “Snappi” Pfeiffer, and Pavle “maden” Bošković. This decision follows the team’s failure to qualify for the Perfect World Shanghai Major 2024, where they were unable to secure a slot.

S1mple joined Team Falcons in September 2024 on a loan deal, replacing Álvaro “SunPayus” García. His contract with the club ends later this year. The new Falcons roster is set to be revealed in 2025.

Insider Aleksei “OverDrive” Biryukov previously commented on the team’s situation, stating that none of the current players, except for s1mple, deserve a place on the professional stage.
