“Starborn” may become the second expansion for Starfield from Bethesda

According to Starfield plot spoilers, “Starborn” refers to a group of beings that players encounter after collecting enough Artifacts in the main story. These beings are humans who have traveled between universes through portals.

The first major story expansion for Starfield, titled Shattered Space, is set to be released later this year. Game director Todd Howard has compared the scale of Shattered Space to the Far Harbor expansion for Fallout 4.

Howard also mentioned that Bethesda plans to release story expansions for Starfield on an annual basis. “I would say more or less, yes,” he replied to the question from the YouTube channel MrMattyPlays about the company’s plans for additional story content. “How long that continues [is uncertain], hopefully a very long time, but we’re planning for the one after this, so there will be another one.”
