Sony has officially announced the release of the new PS5 Pro console

Sony Interactive Entertainment is set to hold a special technical presentation for PlayStation 5 on September 10, where, according to rumors, the long-awaited PS5 Pro may be revealed. The 9-minute presentation will be conducted by Mark Cerny, the lead architect of the PS5 console.

Although the official announcement does not directly mention PS5 Pro, insiders and leaks suggest that a more powerful version of the console might be showcased during this event. A recent teaser for the 30th anniversary of PlayStation featured a design many associate with the new model.

The Verge reports that developers are already preparing games for compatibility with PS5 Pro, supporting new releases that will come after September 16. The updated console is expected to offer high resolution, improved frame rates, and enhanced ray tracing capabilities.

Wccftech also speculates that PS5 Pro will feature an upgraded graphics processor and increased RAM, ensuring seamless performance for even the most demanding games. The console may hit stores as early as November.

The presentation will begin on September 10 and will be available for viewing on the official PlayStation YouTube channel.
