Riot Games Korea has reported a strong financial rebound in 2025 following a difficult 2024. The company released its audited full-year results through South Korea’s DART filing system for the period ending December 31, 2025.
The Korean subsidiary of Riot Games Inc., owned by Tencent, recorded total revenue of ₩491.3 billion (around $334.1 million), marking a 10.8% increase compared to ₩443.3 billion in 2024.
Operating profit more than doubled, rising 117.5% to ₩102.7 billion ($69.8 million), largely driven by the integration of the LCK into the company’s operations. Net profit also grew by 51.8% to ₩98.2 billion ($66.8 million). Meanwhile, operating expenses declined by 1.8%, reflecting tighter cost control throughout the year.
As before, the majority of revenue came from in-game purchases. Around 93% of total revenue, or ₩458.7 billion ($311.9 million), was generated through skins, bundles, and in-game currency. Revenue from services, now including esports operations, reached ₩27.5 billion ($18.7 million).
Overall, the 2025 results highlight a clear turnaround for Riot Games Korea, driven by steady player spending, improved cost management, and the successful integration of the LCK into its core business.
