PGL updated its computer equipment ahead of the Major following criticism during the RMR

PGL has upgraded its computer equipment ahead of the Major in response to criticism received during the RMR.

Organizers of PGL Major Copenhagen 2024 have announced that CS 2 participants will be using updated PC configurations, differing from the previous RMR settings with a change in the processor model.

Responding to complaints from esports players during the qualifying tournaments for the major about technical issues and decreased FPS in CS 2, organizers decided to replace the processor with the AMD Ryzen 9 5950X. The tournament is scheduled to take place from March 17 to 31 in Copenhagen, Denmark, where teams from around the world, including Virtus.pro, NAVI, and Team Vitality, will compete for a $1.25 million prize pool and a slot in the BLAST Premier World 2024 Finals.
