Nintendo Switch 2 with magnetic Joy-Con, incompatible with current ones

The Spanish gaming website Vandal received information about the console from peripheral manufacturers. According to the site, Joy-Con for Switch 2 will magnetically attach to the console. It’s unclear if current Joy-Con will be compatible. The existing Nintendo Switch Pro Controller is claimed to work with Switch 2.

Vandal accurately predicted some features of Switch OLED in 2021. Nintendo delayed the launch of its next console to early 2025. One source suggested the delay is for first-party software development, while others cite hardware supply issues.
