Games come alive, and the fun never ends!

MINOS is set to launch next week, offering a fresh perspective on the life of the Minotaur

Publisher Devolver Digital, together with developer Artificer, has announced the release date for MINOS — a game that blends strategy, puzzle, and roguelite elements, drawing inspiration from the cult classic Dungeon Keeper by Peter Molyneux, but set in the world of ancient Greek mythology.

At the center of the story is the legendary Minotaur, who grows increasingly frustrated with the constant invasions of adventurers seeking to kill him and claim glory. In response, he begins fortifying his lair, building devious traps, complex labyrinths, and deadly obstacles.

The game features a roguelite structure, meaning each run is different. Both the layout of the lair and the placement of traps change, as well as the composition of enemy squads. The core gameplay revolves around combining traps into chain reactions — for example, a warrior triggers a pressure plate, causing boulders to fall, spikes to emerge from the walls, and the floor to turn into lava. If executed correctly, players earn bonus points.

The developers also promise an engaging storyline that will explore the origin of the Minotaur and reveal how his encounter with Theseus unfolds once the hero finally reaches the beast.

MINOS is set to launch next week, on April 9, exclusively on Steam.
