Marvel’s Blade by Arkane Lyon may not launch before 2027

The action game Marvel’s Blade, currently in development at Arkane Lyon — the studio known for Dishonored and Deathloop — remains in the early stages of production. Although the game was officially announced back in 2023 with a short teaser and several concept artworks, little new information has surfaced since.

According to Arkane Studios’ 2024 financial report, the project only entered full-scale production in late 2024. The document also lists November 2027 as a tentative date for tax-related deductions, which many interpret as a possible target release window.

However, both industry analysts and fans suggest a later launch — possibly in 2028 or even 2030. Marvel’s Blade is being developed as a AAA title for PC and Xbox, under the publishing banner of Microsoft and ZeniMax (Bethesda).
