M0NESY on s1mple: “I enjoyed playing against him, he was a tough opponent”

Sniper from the G2 Esports CS 2 lineup, Ilya “m0NESY” Osipov, shared his thoughts on the toughest opponent for a duel. According to him, in the past, the most challenging opponent was Alexander “s1mple” Kostylev due to his unpredictable actions.

“In the past, I enjoyed playing against s1mple. He was a challenging sniper. You couldn’t predict his actions. He was everywhere. Everything you could do with the AWP, he did. Over time, it got better. I started to understand how he moves,” noted Ilya “m0NESY” Osipov.

He also shared that he doesn’t feel pressure when he and Danila “donk” Krivokhvat are called the best players. He claims to play for pleasure and doesn’t dwell on other things.

Earlier, analyst Duncan “Thorin” Shields acknowledged m0NESY as the only player who could compare with s1mple in terms of gameplay.
