On September 29, 2024, Ilya “m0NESY” Osipov celebrated an important milestone—1000 days since joining the G2 Esports CS 2 roster. During this time, the young Russian sniper has won four major LAN tournaments: BLAST Premier World Final 2022, IEM Katowice 2023, IEM Cologne 2023, and IEM Dallas 2024. He has also earned two MVP medals for outstanding performances in Dallas and Abu Dhabi.
Osipov now has a chance to add to his collection of accolades, as G2 Esports will face NAVI in the grand final of the BLAST Premier Fall Final 2024, scheduled for the evening of September 29. The tournament winner will take home $200,000.
It’s worth noting that m0NESY joined G2 Esports in January 2022, becoming the first Russian player in the club’s history. Rumor has it that the organization paid $600,000 for his transfer.
