The manager of BetBoom Team in Dota 2, Lukawa, explained why Team Falcons declined to shake hands after the victory. According to him, it was at the request of the organizers of the ESL One Birmingham 2024 tournament.

Team Falcons secured a 3:0 victory over BetBoom Team in the tournament’s final. ESL One Birmingham 2024 took place from April 22nd to 28th in the United Kingdom. The team received $300,000 for their victory.
