IO Interactive is preparing a Hitman World of Assassination re-release for the series’ 25th anniversary

The special edition was announced during the IOI Showcase, but details were not revealed at the time. Insider billbil-kun has now shared new information about the edition’s contents and possible pricing.

According to the insider, the Anniversary Edition will feature a physical release in a Chess Master 3D Shadowbox with collectible items, as well as a standard digital edition. All versions will still require an internet connection. The package will include the expansions The Undying, The Splitter, The Banker, and The Drop.

The expected price is $49.99 for PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series. A PC version is also planned, though its price has not yet been disclosed. The release could take place on October 17.
