Insider reveals possible release date and price for Halo Campaign Evolved

Polish outlet PPE has shared new information from insider Graczdari, who previously accurately predicted the release dates for Microsoft Flight Simulator 2024, Starfield on PS5, and the physical edition of Oblivion Remastered.

According to the insider, the remake of the original Halo campaign, reportedly titled Halo Campaign Evolved, could launch as early as July 30.

The leak claims the game is planned for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X, and PC. Both digital and physical editions are expected for consoles, while the PC release will likely be available only in digital format.

The reported price of Halo Campaign Evolved is set at €59.

An official announcement is expected during Xbox Games Showcase 2026, which will take place on June 7 at 19:00 CEST.

Previous reports suggest the remake will feature heavily upgraded graphics, improved lighting, and a completely refreshed sound design. Developers are also said to be making gameplay adjustments, including new mechanics, updated controls, and weapons borrowed from later Halo titles.

In addition, the story will reportedly include three brand-new missions that take place before the events of the original campaign.

The game is also rumored to feature four-player co-op and two-player local split-screen support. However, the developers are allegedly abandoning traditional multiplayer modes for this release.

If the rumors prove accurate, Halo Campaign Evolved could become the first Halo title ever officially released on PlayStation platforms.
