Team Cherry has announced the first patch for Hollow Knight: Silksong, scheduled for release in mid-September, as stated on the game’s Steam page.
The upcoming update will include balance adjustments. The developers plan to reduce the damage of early bosses and Sandcarvers and fix various bugs reported by players.
Fans immediately raised concerns about the game’s high difficulty after its launch. Despite this, Hollow Knight: Silksong remains the first title in the series to maintain a perfect 100/100 score on Metacritic.
Silksong is the second installment in the Hollow Knight series by Australian developer Team Cherry, continuing the metroidvania-style gameplay. The sequel was developed eight years after the original game. Initially intended as an expansion, Silksong eventually evolved into a full standalone title.
