G2 Esports tried to sign B1T but NAVI declined

G2 Esports explored the possibility of signing Valeriy “B1T” Vakhovskiy as a replacement for Nikola “NiKo” Kovač. This was revealed by renowned host James “BanKs” Banks. However, Natus Vincere refused to sell the Ukrainian esports player.

“B1T and m0NESY have been close friends since their time in NAVI Junior. You can see them together at any tournament. This could have been a way to reunite them. But NAVI firmly said no. For them, B1T is like a child: ‘We raised him.’ He went through the journey with the organization and won both Majors. That’s why G2 couldn’t acquire him,” said BanKs.

Despite failing to sign B1T, G2 Esports bolstered their roster during the offseason by signing Nikita “HeavyGod” Martynenko. The updated lineup will debut at the BLAST Bounty Spring 2025 qualifiers, with their first match against B8.
