First image of RTX 5090 leaks online, revealing memory details

The first image of Nvidia’s highly anticipated GeForce RTX 5090 has surfaced online, shared by Videocardz.com ahead of Nvidia’s scheduled CES 2025 keynote on Monday.

The leaked photo showcases the new flagship card’s 3.5-slot thick cooler, a significant design feature aimed at handling the card’s high performance. It also reveals the packaging of an Inno3D variant with 32GB of GDDR7 memory, doubling the capacity of the RTX 5080 and providing gamers and creators with an unprecedented memory configuration.

Powered by the GB202 GPU, the RTX 5090 is expected to include 21,760 CUDA cores and run on a 573W TDP, a notable 125W increase over its predecessor. The card will reportedly be the only model in the RTX 50 series to feature this processor, setting it apart as the ultimate flagship.

Nvidia is set to officially unveil the RTX 5090 and its RTX 50 series lineup, including the RTX 5050, 5060, 5070, and 5080, during its CES presentation in Las Vegas at 6:30 PM PT on Monday.

In addition to graphics cards, Nvidia is reportedly involved in providing hardware for Nintendo’s next-generation console, expected to launch before March 31, 2025.
