The finnish esports organization ENCE has announced that it is temporarily halting its women’s CS 2 roster. This update was shared through the team’s official social media channels.
The organization’s general manager stated, “We definitely aim to return with a women’s team at some point, though whether this will be in CS 2 or another game remains uncertain.”
ENCE Athena, the women’s team, has been active in the professional scene since mid-fall 2023. During their time together, they finished second in ESL Impact Cash Cup 2024: Europe #7, but were unable to qualify for the final season of ESL Impact.
