Dust 2 has replaced Overpass in the official map pool in CS 2

On April 25, Valve unexpectedly released a new update for CS 2, sized at 2.3 GB. The game saw several changes, including the reintroduction of patrolling and the ability to change hand positions. Furthermore, Dust 2 has returned to the official map pool, replacing Overpass.

List of changes:

• Dust 2 replaced Overpass in the official map pool;
• Changes to the viewmodel bob;
• Patrol functionality restored in the game;
• Spectating players can see your hand position;
• HUD enhancements, including a new kill icon for jumping kills;
• Dropped guns now appear in the buy menu;
• Display of minimum money for the next round;
• Increased movement speed and reward with Zeus;
• Increased kill reward for CZ75-Auto and decreased for XM1014;
• Simplified ESC menu;
• Fixes and changes on various maps;
• Added ability to play with friends on workshop maps;
• PGL Copenhagen 2024 capsules are now sold at a 75% discount.
