Tournament operator BLAST has announced a series of Dota 2 championships for the 2025-2026 seasons, called SLAM. A total of ten tournaments are planned, with the first one starting on November 26, 2024.

The debut BLAST SLAM tournament will begin with a group stage held online, while the final stages will take place at the BLAST studio in Copenhagen, Denmark. The prize pool for the championship is set at $1 million, and ten invited teams will participate, with no open qualifiers.
The tournament format will start by dividing the teams into two groups of five, where they will compete in a Round Robin format with best-of-one matches. No teams will be eliminated in this stage. The playoffs, called the Gauntlet Stage by BLAST, will follow, with team seeding based on their group stage performance.
