During the final stage of the lower bracket at the ESL One Birmingham 2024 Dota 2 tournament, Team Falcons’ carry, Ammar “ATF” al-Assaf, joked with Tundra Esports’ player Ivan “Pure~” Moskalenko. He wrote in the general chat that it was time for the Russian player to head home.
“Time to go home, Pure~” wrote Ammar “ATF” al-Assaf.
Team Falcons secured a victory over Tundra Esports with a score of 2:0, earning their place in the tournament’s grand final. Moskalenko’s team claimed third place and earned $120,000.
ESL One Birmingham 2024 took place from April 22nd to 28th, with a total prize pool of one million dollars. The winner received $300,000 and 6,400 EPT points for qualification into other ESL tournaments.
