ARC Raiders players report mass bans with no clear reason

Today, popular streamer Tfue shared a screenshot on social media showing a notification that his ARC Raiders account had been suspended. According to him, he received a 30-day ban in Embark Studios’ new game, seemingly without any clear reason.

Tfue is not the only player affected. Users across social media are actively reporting false bans and lengthy account suspensions. This wave of bans comes just days after Embark Studios pledged to crack down harder on cheaters, speeding up detection mechanisms and ban systems. As a result, many in the community suspect that something has gone wrong behind the scenes.

Most players believe that an automated, AI-based ban system is treating so-called “rage reports” — emotionally driven player complaints — as legitimate and issuing bans without proper verification.

At the same time, some fans argue that a 30-day ban is too lenient for players genuinely caught cheating. The prevailing theory is that these are temporary bans, as the system may not yet be refined enough to issue permanent suspensions, which could seriously disrupt the game’s ecosystem if legitimate players were mistakenly punished.
