In the latest Fortnite update, players will be able to disable “confrontation emotions”

Epic Games has announced a new feature in Fortnite that will allow players to hide four emotes that may appear “too aggressive.”

The new option, “Confrontational Emote Visibility,” will be available on Tuesday as part of the Fortnite v29.30 update.

This applies to the emotes “Laugh,” “Take L,” “Whip,” and “Make It Rain.”

“Players who choose this option will see a player using the emote, soundless, standing in place,” Epic said.

“The new setting will be available in the ‘Social Privacy‘ section, defaulting to showing emotes only from friends in your group. You can change this at any time to see emotes from ANY player or not see them at all.”

Samus Aran missed her appearance in Fortnite due to Nintendo’s desire to make the character exclusive to the Switch version of the game.

This was stated by former Epic Games creative director Donald Mustard in an interview, where he noted that Epic wanted to include the Metroid mascot in the game alongside Kratos from God of War and Master Chief from Halo.

Earlier today, it was announced that singer and songwriter Billie Eilish will appear in Fortnite.

Confirmation of Eilish’s participation in the Fortnite Festival music festival came shortly after her appearance in the game was mentioned in a leaked image of the 2024 content roadmap.
